This month, we’ve launched a range of updates to make platforms easier to use, improve the way information is shared, and ensure everything remains secure.
Intelligent AI powered search
We’ve launched a new AI-powered search experience to help users find activities, groups and support faster. Using intelligent ‘semantic’ search, the platform understands everyday language and intent (not just keywords), helping people discover relevant opportunities even when they’re unsure what to search for.
Refine results by badge improvements
For platforms using our AI Search, users can now filter search results by badge. We’ve also added more information about each badge when clicked, helping people better understand what they mean.
Teams / Network badges on profiles
Member profile cards now automatically display the team / networks that a member is part of.
Guide access by member badge
Admins can now control who can view specific guides and resources using member badges. This helps ensure the right information reaches the right people while keeping the platform simple for most users.
Dates more prominent on Event pages
We’ve improved the visibility of dates on Event pages to make it easier for users to quickly identify when activities are happening.
New safeguarding questions on listings and events
We’ve added two new safeguarding questions to service listing and event forms. These help people identify whether a service or activity has relevant safeguarding checks and policies in place.
More information on favourites print shortlists
Particularly useful for social prescribers, carers and family members, users can now print a shortlist of favourite listings with additional information included - especially key contact details and activity information.
Volunteering in Teams
Groups and organisations can now create dedicated team spaces specifically for volunteers to connect and chat together.
Organisations can also post volunteer requests exclusively to members within their volunteer team space.
Custom email sending domains
Platforms can now send email notifications from their own branded email domain.
This is included as standard for customers on our Enterprise plan, and is also available to all customers as an additional feature.
Security & Compliance - Annual Pen Test passed
We’re pleased to confirm that we’ve successfully passed our annual Penetration Test. For anyone unfamiliar with the term, a Pen Test is an authorised simulated cyberattack carried out by ethical security testers to identify vulnerabilities before malicious hackers can exploit them.
